About Me
I found software engineering during a career change, and it didn’t feel like a pivot so much as finally landing where I was meant to be. I’ve always liked building things, and coding turned out to be the most satisfying way to do that. Writing code feels a lot like working through a jigsaw puzzle. You start with a pile of disconnected pieces and slowly turn it into something that actually works. A blank page has never scared me. It feels more like an invitation to figure something out.
I learn quickly and I do my best work when there’s a clear purpose behind what I’m building. If I believe in the project, I’m all in, and I’m the kind of teammate who follows things through and doesn’t disappear when they get tricky. I care a lot about building products that are accessible, thoughtful, and genuinely enjoyable to use, and I’m always looking for ways to keep growing as a developer.
When I’m not writing code, I’m usually doing a puzzle, experimenting in the kitchen, or watching Critical Role and getting way too invested in collaborative storytelling, always with my dog, Kane, nearby.
